Ciao! My name is Riste, your local wine tour guide. I've moved to Italy more than 18 years ago, but my passion for wine was born far earlier than that, thanks to my grandfather that was making wine from our tiny vineyard. I've studied at a wine-making school and attended several wine-courses. I'm a certified sommelier by Associazione Italiana Sommelier (AIS) and now i'm studying to complete the WSET Diploma. I've worked for several wineries and wine-shops. My goal is to have a wide knowledge about the fascinating wine world.

Guided by me, a local wine expert with over 10 years of experience in the industry and a deep passion for wine education, you'll have all your questions answered and curiosities satisfied.
Our journey will take us to two exceptional wineries—one in the morning and another in the afternoon. At each stop, you'll have the opportunity to engage directly with the winemaker or the resident sommelier, gaining unique insights while tasting their finest wines.
This is more than just a wine tour; it's an authentic, local experience that connects you to the heart of our region.
We’ll pause for lunch (around 12:30 pm-2:30 pm) at a traditional Osteria, where you can relax and taste in the culinary delights of our region.

We had a wonderful time wine tasting in Piedmont on a personalized tour by our very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Riste. He curated an experience for us through WineTourism.com making several stops to taste different types of wines, and providing expert advice. He even coordinates shipping purchases back to your home. Highly recommend!

Incredible Wine Tours in Piedmont with Riste
We had an absolutely incredible time on our wine tour, and it was all thanks to our amazing guide, Riste. From the moment we met, he was warm, knowledgeable, and completely passionate about wine—and it made all the difference. We provided an outline of what we wanted to see and taste including lunches for our two days in Piedmont. Riste took it from there. He created a perfect itinerary, taking us to select wineries that were exactly what we were looking for. Each stop offered something unique, and his relationships with the winemakers gave us access to experiences we never would’ve had on our own. He leveraged his relationships to arrange lunch at two different wineries over our two days. He couldn't have done a better job. Both meals were outstanding! What really stood out was Riste's deep knowledge—not just about the wines themselves, but about the history, the region, and the winemaking process. He did an excellent job pacing our travel between wineries. Our conversations during the travel time allowed us time to discuss the wines and absorb the unbelievable views. He even had a select location for us to take an unbelievable photo. Our two day tour concluded with his support for shipping the wines we chose back to the states. If you're looking for a wine tour that's both enriching and incredibly enjoyable, I can’t recommend Riste highly enough. It was a highlight of our trip, and we’ll definitely be back for another tour in the future!
