Kurdějov Terroir

Kurdějov terroir is one of the oldest in Czech Republic, and we can offer you excellent wines such as Riesling, Pálava, Sauvignon Blanc and other white wines, then BlauFrankisch, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and surprinsingly Sangiovese. No wonder, there is the natural phenomenon called "Moravian Tuscany", with center in Násedlovice, which starts on the hills above Kurdějov. This is just another reason for you to come to visit us.

About me

I enjoy doing wine degustations, because I enjoy meeting with people and talking to them while tasting wine. You see the power of emotions in their faces.

I was born in Hustopeče, and have some background in making wine with my farther, but this was in my puberta years and you normaly opose to what your parents wants to give you. I started to love wine again once we moved with my family to Kurdějov in 2007. The energy of nature, which Kurdějov can give you, is thrilling, because it was sleeping for more than 50 years, waiting to be picked up.

I am graduated mechanical engineer, and my curriculum was system engineering, which is about to break down problem areas and this is how I work. My current main employment is production of car emblems, for many of the main car brands in automotive industry. Emblems are those tiny things, that are placed on bonnet, steering wheel and or wheels, which many of us take for granted. This why I really enjoy working in the areas where you have to use your senses, not just technical calculations.

I am part of Sommelier Association of Czech Republic, preparing yourself for the final exam to become "S"ommelier, which hope I will take any time soon. I am surre that you will enjoy your stay anwhere in Moravia.
