Montes de Malaga wine and Wild Boar feast: A culinary adventure with Puerto de Leon winery

This scenic route leads you to the charming boutique winery, Puerto de Leon, perched at an elevation of 900 meters, offering breathtaking vistas of Malaga and its beautiful surroundings.

At Puerto de Leon, we delve into a wine-tasting adventure. We taste the wines of  bodega owner Paco who is an artisanal winemaker renowned for his traditional 'seco trasanejo' and the robust red wine, Alto Jaboneros. Following this, we sample four esteemed red wines hailing from the quintessential red wine region of Malaga - Ronda.

Paco's talents extend beyond winemaking, as he also happens to be a skilled hunter and a masterful cook. After the wine-tasting experience, he treats us to a delectable, traditional wild boar feast, prepared in a variety of delectable ways.

To conclude this unique wine and food adventure, we savor Paco's delightful, red dessert wine, crafted in collaboration with the province's trendiest natural winemaker, the young and talented enologist, Samuel Parraga.

Wonderful wine and wild boar

Ron was extremely knowledgeable, and made the event really enjoyable and memorable, the food was excellent as were the wines , exceptional value for money excursion .
