Write a reviewMy girlfriend, Michelle, and I had a fantastic time! There are delicious wines here, and excellent, friendly staff. Ekaterina Lopez (wine shop staff) and Marian Kopp (Managing Director) took great care of us. They were both knowledgeable, personable, and eager to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for wine. We are wine novices, and this experience was great fun for us, but it was also obvious that Marian and his team were able and ready to take a deeper, more nuanced dive for more guests with more wine knowledge. And more importantly, there were really delicious wines to taste! We ended up taking several bottles home, each! Basically, this experience was Fantastic Fun for Beginners, like us, but also will be well worth the price for wine drinkers of any experience level.
The experience was very pleasant. We toured the facility for about 40 minutes with 2 of their staff. I appreciated that the tour was not cookie cutter, but rather we walked through where the fermentation and bottling take place. We happens to tour with staff that were fairly new to the company, so we were met with many "I don't know"s in response to our questions. The tasting was wonderful, as they provided some background and recommendations based on our preferences. We were invited to stay and make ourselves comfortable even past our 2 hour time window.
We had wine tour and tasting. It was very interesting. We could taste many white and red wines. The nose of wine and the flavor were very good. We bought all of them. I really advice to visit this winery
It was our lucky day - needing a tour in English, the gal giving the tour asked for assistance from one of her colleagues who happens to handle quality control for the winery. We got an amazing amount of information from this gentlemen who was very generous with his time and knowledge. We very much enjoyed our visit at Lauffener.
