Best wine tasting experience I have ever had! Imagine having the full attention of the wine-maker and land-owner himself, followed by the most exquisite wines, a private cellar tour, and the exclusive use of a pristine riverside picnic spot. Extremely good value-for money, exceptional wines, exclusive and intimate experience. This is definitely a Boland best-kept-secret! Thank you Upland, we were blown away.

Had a lovely wine, brandy and liquor testing at Uplands Organic Estate yesterday, with a beautiful hysterical building rich in culture and beautiful veiws. The owner of the establishment went above and beyond to show our group how they make all their organic bottle selections, i would definitely recommend a visit if you are ever in the area.

I visited with friends after looking for an organic Brandy. We were amazed by the the tasting experience. The proprietor and wine maker Edmund, gave us a personal and thorough tasting of their MCC, wines, grappa, port and brandy. All are outstanding. He showed us his distillery and barrel aging facilities. He makes South Africa's only organic brandy! His passion for what he does is tangible. He gave us a wonderful experience and right in the middle of the grape harvest. We will be back.

This was one of the most incredible tastings! Family owned and operated - tastings by appointment only, we took a chance and were graciously accomodated. Being organic, you would be mistaken if you think the quality might suffer for the cause, the quality was exceptional. The cabernet one of the smoothest Iv ever tasted. An amazing array of reds, MCC, port, brandy, grappa & organic lemoncello Intimate, engaging and an incredible experience. Dont debate. Book ahead and be prepared to buy some of the great wine you taste as its impossible not to at the great prices, incredible value for money and it was the highlight of our day If nothing else, visit for the dogs!

An utterly transcendental tasting experience - completely changed my understanding of brandy (it turns out I like it). Every single product from the enormous and diverse range is phenomenal and Dr Oettle a charming and highly knowledgeable host. Do call ahead to book a tasting as it’s a small family business and he’s not always in. Bring your own picnic and if you ask nicely you can have it down by their crystal clear bubbling river.
