Highly recommended. We had an excellent and highly individual tasting here. Zurab is very invested in his business and explains the particularities of traditional Georgian wine very well. Even though we are backpacking, we ended up buying a bottle as we enjoyed the wine a lot. Best to email before, Zurab answers quickly.

Zurab's vineyard is amazing! Make sure you ring the doorbell to the address located on Google maps if you're uncertain you're in the right place. He's finalizing some renovations, but when it's complete I have no doubt that this space will become one of the most popular spots in town. The knowledge of wine making is clearly very deep here. It was a privilege to get to learn a bit about the art from an expert. :)

The owner's mother welcomed us very well. Thanks to the owner who made himself available via video to give us all the explanations about the wine, his cellar, the creation of the labels and all the aspects that are part of the life of a winemaker that we could not have imagined! We learned a lot and the explanations were very clear. Thank you for taking the time to explain all this to us! The tasting of the four wines and the chacha was accompanied by cheese and churchkhali. The wines were really good and unique!

Zurab's winery has so much history and attention to detail and his wines are just outstanding. His amber wines are a must try. His mother helped us through and was showing us around as well as preparing some nibbles. You can tell how proud she is as she was showing us his photos and awards. Very sweet, tasty and authentic experience.

As Italian wine lovers, we wanted to discover the wonderful work of this natural producer. Thanks to its charismatic owner, we had the most amazing wine experience: definitely recommended! We were welcomed by his mother, who made us feel instantly at home. Zurab showed us the winery and the famous Georgian qvevri, then guided us through a very informative wine tasting session: he absolutely managed to convey his passion&skill to the wines he makes. We tasted Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Mtsvane, and had Chacha as well. He also shared his plans of opening a relais right in the same building (stay tuned, we saw it work-in-progress and can't wait to come back again in the future to stay in one of these gorgeous rooms and taste new vintages!).
