An excellent Swedish restaurant; we went twice because it was so good! :) Don't hesitate to try their delicious dishes! But be warned, reservations are almost always necessary if you want a table!

Very good food. I ordered salmon with boiled potatoes, cucumber, and their own mayonnaise-style sauce. Bread and sides are self-service, and the side dishes include a good variety of vegetables like cabbage, olives, corn, lettuce, chickpeas, and more. The staff are very friendly, and the place is very clean and nice. Service is quick. The price of your chosen dish already includes a side dish, water, juice, and coffee. Recommended.

If you are searching for a good place to eat, go ahead, come to the Slingerbulten! If you can, it's better to make a reservation. We arrive without reservation but had luck and there was seat for us at the counter. All the staff were nice, calm and organized. The food was really delicious, well served and for a fair price! I ate the meatballs and my husband the codfish. Can't wait to get back again 🥰

Make a reservation if you’re planning to visit on a Friday night, as it can get quite busy. We started with the slarvsylta, which was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, although the decoration included a lot of uncooked beans, which felt a bit unnecessary and made the dish slightly awkward to eat. For the main courses, we had the grillad lammbringa, which was fantastic. The meatballs were incredibly tasty, I genuinely enjoyed every bite. The staff were friendly, although a little forgetful at times. We were seated by the bar, which offered a nice view and added to the overall atmosphere

A nice restaurant in the city center, with smiling and friendly staff. The atmosphere inside is convivial, with a very homely feel. However, I wasn't thrilled with the food; the cod I ordered was too messy, with too many ingredients, and the cream underneath was truly lackluster. A rather bland dish, but the herring was good!

We had an excellent meal with Swedish meatballs. We ordered one dish to share because we weren’t very hungry. The portion with meatballs for 215 SEK and cheese was simply divine. A real must-have if you’re in Sweden, especially during your first days here or if it’s your first time trying local cuisine. This is a great place to stop for a very tasty dinner. Highly recommended.

As a couple, we spent a wonderfully authentic evening at Slingerbulten. Located right in the heart of Gamla Stan, you immediately feel at home – cozy, rustic, and completely unpretentious. The Swedish cuisine was a true delight for us. Traditional, robust in flavor, and lovingly presented. We especially appreciated how honest and down-to-earth everything felt – that's precisely what makes this restaurant so charming. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for enjoying the evening together and raising a glass in peace. For us, it was a taste of real Sweden on a plate – authentic, delicious, and highly recommended! 🤍✨
