Travel Itinerary
We will start our day in the historical center of Alba, a city famous for art, literature, and most importantly, Nutella. Towers, churches, and ancient cobblestone streets will take you back to the Middle Ages. Chocolate and truffle shops are everywhere.
A beautiful drive among hills covered in vines will take us to a world-renowned winery. We will tour the facility to learn how wine is made and we will taste Barolo, the King of wines.
We will then taste the delicious local cuisine at a medieval village while sampling other wine varieties from the area.
The Queen of wines, Barbaresco, will be waiting for us in the afternoon at a smaller, family-owned winery that will let us tour the vineyards and share their story with us.
We will then return to Alba where we will be more than happy to recommend our favorite spots for dinner or aperitivo.
