Romagna is a sub-region of Emilia Romagna wine region in the North-west of Italy that is comprised of three provinces - Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna, and Rimini.

The story of Romagna's wine industry is of regional importance and historical depth. The wines have been produced using indigenous grapes since Roman times. What makes these wines so special are their similarities with the wines of Tuscany and Bardolino, also part of Romagna and Emilia-Romagna. The Italian wine appellation Romagna is all about character and terroir. The soil of this region produces wines with a distinctive flavor and aroma. Romagna's tropical climate, year-round rainfall, and sandy soil drain well. It's optimal for vegetation since it doesn't have much clay in it. Thunderstorms are commonplace in vineyards closer to the Adriatic coast, and hot and humid summers create ideal conditions for mold. Cagnina is wine drunk young and for a short time. From mid-October until the end of autumn, no later. Cagnina wines of Romagna are typically deep purple with sweet fruit intensity, offering notes of strawberry and raspberry.

Romagna Trebbiano:

Romagna Trebbiano (sparkling and semi-sparkling) is one of the most popular white wines on the tables of Romagna's eating venues and taverns. Romagna Trebbiano is characterized by a dry, savory flavor, which releases freshness and fragrances.

Romagna Sangiovese:

The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC wine zone produces ruby red and violet-colored wines using mainly red Sangiovese grapes.  It is made into a Superior and Reserva classification, usually with notes of sour cherry, baked plum, and herbs.

Romagna Pagadebit:

It is produced from Bombino Bianco grapes with the addition of other white varieties; this pleasant autochthonous white grape vinified dry, both still and sparkling, has unmistakable floral hints and a clear hawthorn scent with herbaceous notes. t used to make light, fruity and floral wines that are dry and best consumed young.

Ragù alla Romagnola

It is a traditional Romagna-style ragù alla Romagnola made from ground pork and ground veal and prepared with onions, bacon, carrots, celery, salt, pepper, and sometimes canned tomatoes, and a pasta of your choice can be served on the side.

Tortellini

It is made with various ingredients and wraps up securely inside egg pasta, creating a pocket that wraps itself in a ring shape. Tortellini has a storied history as a delicacy, typically served for holidays or special occasions. Some more great ingredients like prosciutto, mortadella, and parmesan cheese are used to make the stuffing. This stuffing is exceptionally dense & richly flavored. Tradition says they should be served in a broth that is sizzling or cooked with chicken or beef.
