Azienda Agricola Cà di Tulin: A Winery Nestled in Nature
Azienda Agricola Cà di Tulin Winery is beautifully situated behind a natural dam, enhancing its picturesque setting. The vineyards stretch across the scenic provinces of Asti and Cuneo, with the charming town of Cisterna d’Asti nearby, nestled in the hills of Asti close to the Roero region. The winery's three hectares of lush vineyards lie between the medieval towns of Canale and Cisterna, offering a stunning backdrop for wine lovers.
A Legacy Rooted in Family Tradition
This family-owned winery has a rich history dating back to the 1800s. During a recent attic renovation, the owner discovered an old ledge revealing that “Olivetti, Bartolomeo, and Tulin were already taking their wine to Villastellone in the mid-1800s.” Inspired by this legacy, Alessandro Olivetti named the winery after his grandfather, Tulin. Azienda Agricola Cà di Tulin honors traditional winemaking methods while incorporating modern technology to produce high-quality wines. Today, it proudly holds the status of a small enterprise in the province of Asti.
Diverse Vines and Exceptional Wines
Azienda Agricola Cà di Tulin cultivates a variety of grapevines, including Arneis, which flourishes in a vineyard overlooking a quaint local church. The winery produces unique Nebbiolo and Barbera d’Alba from the sandy, gravelly soils of the “Vialunga” vineyard. Additionally, the rich Croatina and Barbera d’Asti grapes are sourced from the Cisterna vineyards (Roche and Via ad’Lame). Visitors can appreciate the winery's storied history while enjoying a delightful wine tasting experience.
