Bricco Maiolica, the Union of Two Family Wineries

Bricco Maiolica is a family business, runn for four generations, situated on a steep hill called ‘Maiolica,’ in the Diano D’Alba region, in the heart of Piedmont. The winery is a combination of two estates – Casa Castella and Bricco Maiolica. Casa Castella was previously owned by Claudia, wife of Beppe Accomo, the owner of Bricco Maiolica. After their marriage, the couple later unified the winemaking business of two families in 2013.

Since 1928, the Bricco winery has been dedicatedly producing magnificent wines. The former owner started the business with the cultivating Dolcetto vines, followed by unique Barbera in 1930. Later, Beppe’s father – Angelo, bought Cascina Valdavì, a neighboring land, and extended the family business by cultivating various types of white grapes. The company owns an area of 24 hectares where they grow unique Barolo using modern and traditional methods with complete respect for nature. Under the status Barolo Del Comune Di Diano D’alba DOC, the family of Bricco Maioloica produces top-quality red, white, and sparkling wines.
