Bricco Maiolica is a family business, run for four generations, situated on a steep hill called ‘Maiolica,’ in the Diano D’Alba region, in the heart of Piedmont. The winery is a combination of two estates – Casa Castella and Bricco Maiolica. Casa Castella was previously owned by Claudia, wife of Beppe Accomo, the owner of Bricco Maiolica. After their marriage, the couple later unified the winemaking business of two families in 2013.

Since 1928, the Bricco winery has been dedicatedly producing magnificent wines. The former owner started the business with the cultivating Dolcetto vines, followed by unique Barbera in 1930. Later, Beppe’s father – Angelo, bought Cascina Valdavì, a neighboring land, and extended the family business by cultivating various types of white grapes. The company owns an area of 24 hectares where they grow unique Nebbiolo grape variety using modern and traditional methods with complete respect for nature. Under the status Barolo Del Comune Di Diano D’alba DOC, the family of Bricco Maioloica produces top-quality red, white, and sparkling wines. The aging of these luscious wines is carried out in the modernized cellar, equipped with wooden oak barrels. The wood ensures the effective maturation of wines and provides a unique taste to them.
