Azienda Agricola Mizzon is a beautiful winery in the wine country of Valpolicella Classico based in a rural farmhouse built in 1917. Although the family were vegetable farmers, after the second World War, Giuseppe Mizzon together with his brother and his father decided to shift to viticulture and wine making. Azienda Agricola Mizzon has always been known for their passion and commitment to producing the best wines in the region, for this reason their wines have won several prizes an awards over time.
Natural Processing in the Vineyards
The winery possesses multiple vineyards spread throughout the region ranging for the plains to the slopes of the hills which give them the ability to produce multiple grape varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Oseleta, Negrara, Dindarella and Pelara. They believe in natural process of vineyard management and thus do not use any chemical herbicides in the fields. The farmhouse has been renovated over the years to facilitate an ideal place to process their grapes and produce the signature wines of the region.
Taste Gorgeous and Depth-Filled Amarone
The drying area is also located in the farmhouse where grapes can stay for as long as four months to dry naturally which is important to create their Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella. They also produce other wines from this region like Valpolicella, Valpolicella Classico Superiore and Valpolicella Ripasso. Azienda Agricola Mizzon Winery welcomes guests to see their facility and learn how their prized wines are produced.
