Aniello Winery Amidst the Beauty of Untouched Natural Surroundings
Nestled on the beautiful Upper Rio Negro Valley, in the district of Mainque, a magnificent winery called Aniello, sits surrounded by unspoiled nature. The winery is based in a stunning turn of Rio Negro River among the most spectacular vineyards. Aniello is a small boutique winery preserving the old winemaking traditions of Patagonia while keeping its Italian roots alive.
Working with Great Dedication
The story of Aniello begins in 1927 when a family from Italy was attracted to the beauty of the Patagonia Region in Argentina and decided to settle down. They first bought the winery, known as 006, and later purchased the second one. The family planted their first vineyards in 1932 and over the years, has expanded the business with great dedication. The current new winery building was built in 2010 with modern architecture and innovative techniques.
Aniello Winery Offers a Wide Range of Delectable Wines
Surrounded by magical landscapes, the vineyard area gives rise to a broad array of grapes. The owner cultivates premium Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Malbec, as well as unique Chardonnay and Trousseau. Most of the vineyards are very old, belonging to an ancient estate, while some vineyards have been replanted to increase productivity and variety. A constant breeze touches the vines that are grown in the fertile soils adding to the complete terrior of the winery. These grapes are manually picked, respecting the traditions and culture of previous generations of winemakers.
With great precision and dedication to hard work, the owners of Aniello have brought modern technology into the wine cellar.
Their temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels have given a new face to the prestige of their wines. They cultivate delicious red, white, and sweet rosé wines.
