Boeri Alfonso Winery: A Legacy of Barbera Excellence

Located in Costigliole d’Asti, Boeri Vini is celebrated as one of the premier producers of Barbera in Piedmont. This winery not only offers exceptional wines but also harnesses the beneficial properties of grapes for skincare, making it a unique destination for wine enthusiasts.

Scenic Location in the Langhe Hills

The winery is nestled in Bionzo, a picturesque medieval town in the Asti province of southern Piedmont. This hilly region, known for its stunning vineyard views, has a rich history of winemaking and battles. Boeri Alfonso Winery spans ten hectares on the last hills of Monferrato, bordering the renowned Langhe hills.

Historic Vines and Timeless Traditions

Founded in the early 1900s, the Boeri family has deep roots in viticulture. Alfonso Boeri, the great-grandfather of the current owners, began cultivating vines on Bricco Quaglia hill. The winery has passed through generations, with Giorgio and Roberto Boeri now at the helm, focusing on high-quality wines. Their flagship wine, Barbera d’Asti Superiore Pörlapà, is crafted from grapes planted in 1936. Today, Boeri Alfonso Winery exports its wines to 15 countries, maintaining a commitment to traditional winemaking practices. In addition to Barbera, the estate cultivates Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, Moscato, and Dolcetto. The aging process occurs in a historic cellar that is over 200 years old.

Boeri Vini also produces natural cosmetic products that leverage the health benefits of grapevines. These skincare items, rich in fruit acids and antioxidants, include ingredients like grape seed oil and wine. For wine lovers, a visit to Boeri Vini offers not only exquisite wines but also a chance to appreciate the stunning landscape of Piedmont.

Wonderful place, the tasting of prestigious wines combined with platters of local cured meats and cheeses delighted my palate and that of my friends... I recommend it to all those who find themselves passing through these areas! I forgot, the kindness and helpfulness of the owner were unique..

I have been with friends to this winery and I must say that the Boeri family truly deserves a positive review the first time we found the daughter who was exceptionally kind and competent the second day we returned to get other wines and we found the father who was on par with his daughter and in addition to this his wines also deserve a special mention like the family. A big hello from the Florence group to the Boeri family and a see you in 2029 for that famous 2019 chardonnay that the father told us about.

I discovered this company through a tasting, thanks to my son's sport, and it was a real revelation! Excellent wines described with professionalism and competence, kindness and willingness that guided me, through their vast production, to choose the products that best suited my needs. Thank you for this beautiful taste experience!

The friendliness and friendliness present in the Boeri showroom is at very high levels, Like the goodness of their wines, which can only be explained by tasting them. During the tasting, the wines are introduced accompanied by typical local products and a wonderful view. It is possible to understand that for the Boeri family, producing and selling wine is not a job, but a combination of Art and Passion which they apply from the vineyard to the finished product.

Kindness, courtesy and professionalism that allow the creation of unique products in the world such as brut sparkling wine. Fantastic and unique company of its kind despite being located in a fantastic terroire full of producers. They manage to stand out in everything by generating unique products. Discovered by chance, it has become a must every time we manage to pass through the area. The last time I was on the street the lady who served us was very kind even though she wasn't the usual person dedicated to sales. 10 and praise.
