Founded in 1980 by Roman Marengo, Ca’ Rome’ is a testament to his passion for winemaking and the land of Piedmont. With over thirty years of experience in the wine industry, Roman envisioned creating his own winery. He shared this dream with his family, including his children Giuseppe, Paola, and Maria, along with his wife Olimpia.

A Family-Run Winery

Today, Giuseppe Marengo carries on his father's legacy at Ca’ Rome’. He oversees the production of a diverse selection of fine wines, all while honoring the family’s heritage. The winery is situated on historic vineyards inherited from their grandmother, “Maria di Brun.” Giuseppe takes a hands-on approach to viticulture, winemaking, branding, and sales. At Ca’ Rome’, Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes are cultivated to create exceptional Barbarescos and Barolos. For wine enthusiasts and travelers, a visit to Ca’ Rome’ offers a unique opportunity to taste exquisite wines and learn about the rich traditions of Piedmontese winemaking.

Paola is a sweetheart of a woman and has a passion for wine and for her region's rich viticultural history. The wines are very good and are a true reflection of Piedmont's unique style, with some very special Crus. Do visit them if you get a chance as it's an artisanal, family production, unlike the other big names.
