Cascina Alberta: A Brief Overview

As you descend the winding streets of Treiso village and pass through the picturesque Giacone sub-region, you will find Cascina Alberta nestled among its perfectly shaped vineyards. Spanning 19 hectares, nine of which are dedicated to vineyards, we cultivate renowned grape varieties such as Riesling, Barbera, and Nebbiolo. These vines not only produce exceptional wines but also frame breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Our historic buildings have been thoughtfully restored to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for visitors.

Harmony with Nature

At Cascina Alberta, we believe in the delicate balance between our hills, vineyards, and woodlands. Our deep appreciation for the Langhe region drives us to practice sustainable agriculture, ensuring minimal human impact while fostering the healthy growth of our grapes. We prioritize soil health, recognizing it as our most vital resource. By protecting and nurturing our land, we aim to produce wines that reflect the unique character of our environment.

A wonderful experience. Vincenzo's talk, but above all his passion, led us from the cellars to the ravioli, and it was very intense! Incredible panorama.

Overnight stay and lunch with tasting: A farmhouse surrounded by greenery, overlooking the estate's vineyards. Simple, clean rooms with floor-to-ceiling beamed ceilings. Lunch featuring typical local cuisine and fine wine. Conveniently located for reaching Alba and Barolo. A wonderful weekend with friends!

We were road tripping and arrived in Alba without a reservation. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have found this lovely Agri tourism stay. Everything about our stay was excellent. The reception, the room and the delicious farm fresh breakfast in the morning. This property is top-notch. It is more sophisticated than your average agri tourism stay. We highly recommend it if you are staying in the area.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Cascina Alberta and what a beautiful property. I researched many properties in this area and I'm glad we decided to stay at Cascina Alberta as I believe they have it all. Position of the property is high up in the mountains, having a beautiful view of the valley from up top, the rooms are nicely refurbished and designed which has all the comfort you look in a new property yet having a lot of character of a old property, we stayed in a suite room which was very spacious, had beautiful views from both the room and the bathroom. We stayed during off peak season time, and it wasn't very busy but the staff went above and beyond which was again testament to their high reviews and service minded team. We stayed during the Easter weekend when most of the restaurants are closed, but the team called many of the restaurants to find us a place and made our stay more pleasant. They gave great recommendations of the nearby towns and restaurants which were great. Breakfast was another standout, home made dishes to look forward to every morning. Spread wasn't extensive but had more than enough dishes for a special breakfast.
