Top Armenian Winery

Founded in 2006, Gevorkian Winery stands out as one of Armenia's premier winemakers. We offer a diverse range of high-quality wines crafted from local fruits, berries, and indigenous Armenian grape varieties. The unique characteristics of our wines are a testament to Armenia's rich natural and climatic conditions, where 300 sunny days a year contribute to the sweet flavors and aromatic profiles of our grapes and fruits.

Modern Techniques Meet Traditional Methods

At Gevorkian Winery, we blend modern winemaking techniques with traditional practices. We are proud to be the first in Armenia to create distinctive red wines using the Kakhani method, which involves making fine wines from dried grapes. Our winery has also revived the art of monastic winemaking and introduced the German tradition of Ice Wines to Armenia. Additionally, we have developed a unique method for producing fruit wines, which are presented in specially designed fruit-shaped bottles—an exclusive feature of Gevorkian Winery. Our commitment to quality is recognized by ISO 22000:2005 certification, ensuring the safety of our products, and we have received numerous national and international awards for our wines.

Global Reach of Gevorkian Wines

Gevorkian Winery's wines are enjoyed in various countries around the world, including Russia, the United States, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, the Czech Republic, China, Lebanon, Australia, Israel, Japan, and Kazakhstan. Our global presence reflects the growing appreciation for Armenian wines and the unique flavors they offer.

We really enjoyed our tour at Gevorkian winery. The guide Lilya was extremely friendly and was happy to answer all our questions. Gevorkian winery implements a lot of innovative techniques in their wine making and they love to experiment which surely pays off as they have great wines. All their wines deserve a praise but if you were to choose one I highly recommend their pomegranate wine. Make sure to try their “lavash chips” made by digin Ruzan :)
