At Karam Wines, a captivating story of passion and craftsmanship unfolds, inviting you to experience their unique winemaking process.

The Story of Karam Wines

The roots of Karam Wines trace back to the 1950s when a young boy helped his grandmother harvest grapes in the picturesque fields of Lebanon. While dreaming of flying, he would often look down at the endless rows of vines, a memory that stayed with him throughout his aviation career. After years of service in Southern Lebanon, he fulfilled his dream by establishing Karam Wines in 2002, blending his love for wine with cherished childhood memories.

The Ideal Location of the Terroirs

Nestled 1400 meters above sea level in Southern Lebanon, Karam Wines benefits from a unique terroir that perfectly suits vine cultivation. With a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea, the vineyards enjoy a fresh and moderate climate. Here, a diverse range of grape varieties flourish, including Meksassi, Albarino, Saperavi, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Viognier, and Ugni Blanc. This rich diversity allows Karam Wines to produce exceptional red, white, and rosé wines, each reflecting the unique characteristics of their terroir.

A Wide Selection of Wines

Karam Wines offers an impressive selection of wines, showcasing the exotic grape varieties cultivated in their vineyards. Their commitment to crafting mono-varietal wines sets them apart in Lebanon and beyond, appealing to wine enthusiasts and travelers alike. Each bottle tells a story of the land and the meticulous care that goes into every vintage.

Beautiful winery in the beautiful Jezzine region! We did a wine tasting (€5 per person!) with Joseph who was very welcoming and very friendly with us. We had the pleasure of tasting the entire range of Karam wine which was very good in an idyllic setting, while having the opportunity to discuss Lebanon and its history! I highly recommend!!

A beautiful place with a very nice view. Can go their for a cheese and wine gathering or Lebanese set menu if booked in advance as the place is very private and magical. I was surprised to know how great is this wine. We were super well received and we had the best wine tasting ever in lebanon that none of the wineries ever offered. Very generous. Very informative. Tasted all their wines and learned about the best way to pair them with food. Thank you!

Nice gem of a winery. Nestled just outside of jezzine. If you come to jezzine and like wine. Bring your friends and go to the tasting room. You will find a magical place to take pictures. If you are lucky. You will find the ( captain 👩‍✈️) The owner. Regardless I tried 4 reds and 1 white. And 1 rose. And a desert wine. All were very yummy and I took 4 bottles of red home.

Went to visit this winery in Jessine and was not disappointed. It is not the biggest winery in Lebanon but the intimate chats and interactions with Captain Karam is amazing. He personally does the wine tasting and answers all your questions. He is very passionate and hands on and takes you around to see the wine making process. You must call and book as the winery is a family business and they are not always on site. Well worth a visit.
