L’Armangia, a Charming Winery between the Famous Regions of Langhe and Monferrato
L’Armangia is located between the two attention grabbing and suitable winegrowing areas of Piedmont, Langhe and Monferrato. The aromatic richness and imposing landscape of the area make it one of the best places to explore.
Winery Surrounded by Gentle Hills
The vineyards from L’Armangia extend over the municipalities of Canelli, Moasca, San Marzano Oliveta and Castel Boglione and cover an area up to 10 hectares. The landscape varies from the terraced vineyards of the Langa to the hills of the plateau of the Belbo stream. It ranges from the oak and acacia woods to the small living areas on the top of the hills. The history of the winery dates back to the year 1850 when Ignazio Giovine acquired some vineyards on the hills of Sant’Antonio a Canelli, one of the best areas for the production of Moscato d’Asti. Later in 1988, the current owner, established this winery with the main objective to restore the reputation of Canelli as the home of great wines in recent decades by focusing on mass-produced goods.
The Wines of L’Armangia Reflect the Terroir of Piedmont
