Rich Heritage of the Roero Region

Massucco F.lli Azienda Agricola is nestled in the picturesque Roero Region, located in the northeastern part of Cuneo, Piedmont. This area is renowned for its fertile soil and favorable climate, making it a prime location for producing high-quality wines. The winery's lush vineyards span over 20 hectares, offering a diverse range of aromas and flavors that captivate every visitor.

A Legacy of Winemaking

With a history dating back to the 1900s, Massucco F.lli Azienda Agricola is a family-run winery that has been passed down through four generations. The Massucco family has dedicated themselves to the art of winemaking, producing wines under two distinct labels: Massucco and Cascina Serra. This rich heritage is reflected in the quality and character of their wines.

A Diverse Selection of Vines

At Massucco Winery, a variety of grape varieties are cultivated, including Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, Favorita, and Chardonnay. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully processed, resulting in wines that showcase the region's unique terroir. The winery produces a range of offerings, from full-bodied red wines to fruity whites, as well as sparkling and dessert wines. Each bottle reflects the harmonious aromas and flavors that are characteristic of Piemontese wine traditions.

Tasting and visit to the 5-star cellar! Thanks to Loris, who was able to convey all his passion to us, we were able to live a wonderful experience: first the visit to the wine cellar and then the tasting of the "Superior Route" combined with a platter of excellent local products. Highly recommended!

The F.lli Massucco company is the perfect place for those looking for an authentic experience in a family atmosphere. From the first time we felt at home, pampered and at ease. The experiences offered are many, little by little we will do more! It's always interesting to discover new information about wine and all the work that goes into a bottle. They offer products for vegetarians (like me) and also for celiacs, which is not a given. Thank you for your welcome and kindness, thanks to Mrs. Barbara and Mr. Roberto, see you soon.

PICNIC IN THE VINEYARDS On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the whole family went on a wonderful e-bike tour, culminating in a magnificent experience at the Massucco winery (Az.Agr.), which we used for the "Picnic in the Vineyard" experience. An absolutely fantastic experience! We were given baskets full of very generous quantities of appetizers, cured meats, and cheeses, accompanied by a bottle of wine of our choice. The place where we devoured our baskets was beautiful! Completely immersed in the vineyards and near a "ciabot" (traditional Italian tavern) whose ancient and curious history was passionately recounted to us by the owners. Grapes were kindly placed in front of us for tasting. In the afternoon, a second surprise: a visit to the cellar and the entire farm accompanied by the owner, who explained to us in detail and excitingly all the cellar's production processes, without neglecting the curiosities, the details, and plenty of information we had never heard of before during other visits to wineries. 5 stars for the picnic, 5 stars for the availability, friendliness, and welcome, 5 stars for Mr. Massucco's passion for presenting his business, and 5 stars for the entire Massucco family, who are undoubtedly the strength and driving force of this business. A wonderful discovery that I will share with all my friends. Thank you, Simon 20.10.2024
