Founded in 1986, Vinicola De Tomelloso unites 28 winegrowing families with a shared passion for quality winemaking.

Over 30 Years of Winemaking Excellence

The story of Vinicola De Tomelloso began in 1986 when 28 families came together, driven by their love for vineyards and wine. This collaboration has been passed down through generations. In 1991, the winery produced its first white wine under the ANIL brand, followed by the introduction of Abrego and Torre De Gazate red wines. Today, the winery is also recognized as a certified producer of sparkling wines in Castilla-La Mancha, managing approximately 2,500 hectares of vineyards.

Diverse Grape Varieties in Tomelloso's Vineyards

At Tomelloso Winery, the vineyards feature a variety of grapes, including Macabeo, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Tempranillo, with some areas recently replanted with Airén. The winery is committed to sustainable practices while producing high-quality red, white, sparkling, dessert, and rosé wines, all under the DO La Mancha designation. The estate is also home to over 2,000 historical 17th-century caves, enhancing its charm and offering unique tourism experiences, complemented by exceptional dining at the Mabel restaurant.
