A perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or simply to treat yourself to a relaxing day with friends, our “Red Therapy” Wine Tour across Mornington Peninsular and Red Hill leisurely explores the region’s beautiful landscapes and world-class wineries.

Renowned for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as pioneering Pinot Gris/Grigio in Australia, the Mornington Peninsula produces a vast range of quality wines. Set between two bays – Port Phillip Bay and Western Port Bay – this cool climate region is dominated by strong winds that sweep across the land. With red volcanic soils and hills rising 300 meters above sea level, the area produces grapes with outstanding fruit flavors, high natural acidity, and fine tannins, resulting in excellent vintages.

This summer calls for the perfect opportunity to spoil yourself with some of the Peninsulas’ beautiful Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and of course, the region’s jewel, Pinot Noir.

This 8-hour private tour package price per person includes wine tastings at 3 premium wineries, a gourmet lunch, a special visit to the local distillery, brewery or chocolaterie, a fully licensed and CPVV accredited tour guide and private transport to all wineries.

Tour Itinerary

10.00 A.M: Pick-up

We’ll pick you up from a location of your choice within Metropolitan Melbourne Limits.

• For groups of 6-11 people, we offer a private 12 Seater Mini Bus.
• For groups with more than 11 people, we are able to offer private 14-seat, 21-seat or 24-seat buses depending on the passenger requirement.
• Alternative and luxury modes of transport such as private 12 Seater Chrysler or a 17 Seater Hummer Limousine can be included for an extra fee (available as add-ons during checkout).

11:00 A.M: Wine Tastings at Ten Minutes by Tractor

Our 1st stop is Ten Minutes by Tractor, one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most famous premium wineries. To properly understand why this estate is so renowned demands a visit.

The wines – especially the single vineyard chardonnays – are a must try; the small but superb cellar door is one of the region’s most-visited destinations.

12:00 P.M: Gourmet Lunch & Wine Tastings at Red Hill Estate

Our 2nd stop is a combination of wine tastings at Red Hill Estate as well as a gourmet lunch served at Max’s Restaurant, Mornington Peninsula’s first winery restaurant.

Wine Tastings at Red Hill Estate

Red Hill Estate wines are truly exceptional, with grapes sourced from Cool Climate wine regions where different cool climates mix with volcanic and sedimentary soils to create wines that are wonderfully textured, complex and elegantly understated.

Gourmet Lunch at Max’s Restaurant 

A destination dining experience, Max’s Restaurant is the perfect location for a relaxed lunch, romantic meal or group celebration.

Set in beautiful Red Hill with spectacular views of the vineyard, Westernport Bay and Phillip Island, max’s seasonal menu celebrates local produce and modern techniques, while the dining room has a relaxed ambiance with professional and friendly service. Glass walls on three sides maximize the vineyard and coastal views.

Enjoy a gourmet lunch on the expansive lawns during summer or cosy up by the fireplace in winter at this legendary winery restaurant. 

03:00 P.M: Wine tastings at Barmah Park

Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door is nestled within a boutique vineyard and offers superb food with palatable wines to match. Tastings of the Barmah Park wines take place in the spacious cellar door. You may even leave with a bottle of wine or two.

The indoor space has ample sit down areas, ready for your friends and family to feast and an outdoor entertainment space to enjoy into the night.

04:00 P.M: Visit to Jimmy Rum Distillery, Jetty Road Brewery or Mornington Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery

For our 4th stop, you can choose between a visit to the Local Gin Distillery, Brewery, or Chocolaterie.

Treat yourself to a true Australian Craft Gin or a fresh brew of craft beer & cider at Jimmy Rum Gin Distillery & Jetty Road Brewery.

Had enough to drink for one day? Feel free to indulge your sweet tooth in a freshly made batch of artisanal chocolates, pastries & desserts at the Mornington Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery before heading back home.

05:00 P.M: Wrap up & depart Mornington Peninsula

As the day comes to an end, it is time to wrap up and leave Mornington Peninsula and head back home.
