Brunello of Montalcino & Nobile di Montepulciano Wine Tour

A superb Experience in the wonderful Val d'Orcia between Noble Vines and medieval cities.

Our driver escort will pick you up at your location (hotel, B&B or private apartment) in Florence and take you on a drive through the sweet hills of Tuscany.

First stop in the main square of Montepulciano, free visit of the city and one Historic Cellars. Here you will find gigantic oak barrels, in which the famous "Vino Nobile" and the Red di Montepulciano DOC “rest”.

After a guided tour of the historic cellar that dates back to the Etruscan period, you will taste 5 local wines, including Rosso di Montepulciano, Vino Nobile and Super Tuscan.

After the tasting, our driver will be able to recommend a great place to taste the famous pasta with "Pici". (Basic menu around 25 euros).

After lunch we will cross one of the most beautiful Tuscan wine roads, between postcard hills and incredible vines until you get to Montalcino for athe second tasting of wine in a prestigious farm, where the production of this delicious wine has been made for generations.

In fact, this family was one of the first to start the production of Brunello and has maintained over time a very high quality and a passion that has been handed down for generations.

After the visit of the cellar and an explanation on the production of Brunello, the tasting will begin.

Here we will taste 5 types of wines including, Rosso di Montalcino. two types of Brunello Docg a Super Tuscan and a delicious Rosé.

At the end of the second tasting we will return to Florence.
