Embark on a sensory journey, explore the region's heritage, and learn wine tasting with a passionate guide

While Bordeaux is best known for its iconic red wines, its white wines reveal an impressive range of styles that are often overlooked. From vibrant, zesty Sauvignon Blancs ideal for aperitifs to richer, Sémillon-led blends perfectly suited to the table, white Bordeaux offers a world worth discovering!

Throughout this experience, you’ll be guided in professional tasting techniques while exploring the foundations of white Bordeaux wines, including their history, appellations, grape varieties, terroirs, and winemaking methods. You’ll discover the stylistic differences between the Left Bank and the Right Bank, learning how stainless steel fermentation enhances freshness and aromatic purity, while barrel aging contributes depth, texture, and structure.

The tasting also includes the opportunity to sample the celebrated sweet wine Sauternes. Led by Cécilia and her team, certified wine specialists trained at the Université du Vin, the session features 4 selected white wines sourced from both prestigious and independent estates, along with a mystery wine designed to sharpen your sensory skills.

The experience is interactive and welcoming, unfolding in a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll also explore inventive food and wine pairings, with each wine complemented by a carefully chosen aged French cheese. A tasting booklet is provided to help you continue your learning at home.

Depending on the time of year, tastings are hosted in our Bordeaux-style tasting room, our private courtyard, or within the cool ambiance of our cellar. All wines featured during the tasting are available for purchase afterward, allowing you to extend the experience or share your discoveries with friends and family.
