Heart of Hunter Tours

We provide bespoke tours of Australia's world-renowned Hunter Valley wine country. There's no set itinerary, everything can be tailored to ensure your visit to the Hunter is a memorable experience, for all the right reasons. Of course, you can leave everything up to us… let us surprise you. Our tours are private and exclusive, ideally suited to a couple, with a maximum of 4 people. We never combine groups, so no strangers. Your tour guide, Clive, is a wine lover with a deep love of the Hunter Valley. He has been coming to the Hunter Valley since the mid-eighties to visit cellar doors and attend wine functions. In 2009 he purchased a property in the valley (Lovedale), and moved there permanently in 2019. Clive loves conversation and is always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Clive is a wine lover with a deep love of the Hunter Valley. He has an immense knowledge of the Australian wine industry, particularly the wine makers and wines of the Hunter Valley. He has been coming to the Hunter Valley since the mid-1980s to visit cellar doors and attend wine functions. His love of wine extends beyond his own personal collection. He enjoys celebrating the history of wine, and discovering new and exciting wine producers.

In 2009 Clive and his wife, Nicki, bought a property in Lovedale allowing them to spend countless weekends and holidays in the valley. They are now fortunate to call the Hunter Valley their home.

Moving permanently in 2019 allowed Clive to establish Heart of Hunter Tours and share his love of the valley and its wines.

Clive holds a WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 3 Award in Wines (Pass with Distinction).
