My name is Diego and I am a certified local guide working in the Basque Country and Rioja. I have lived in Germany and Ireland, and I speak Basque, English, French, German and Spanish. I am passionate about travel, gastronomy, wine, nature, culture, and of course, my beloved homeland, the Basque Country, which I know firsthand. From 2016-17, I was lucky enough to be able to go around the world, which made me realize that the best way to know a place, is with a local guide. So I started my business project as a tour guide. I have been trained as a guide and I have a degree in Business Management and Administration.

At Feel Basque Country, we are a team of people passionate about our land, and we aim to offer unique experiences in the region, off the well-beaten tracks, and to submerse you in our culture, tradition, and character. Our main objective is to ensure that you have a unique experience far from the most popular tourist attractions, are 100% in contact with locals, and are immersed in the culture of this unique and magical area: the Basque Country and its surroundings.
