Tour the most loved destination in the Hungary

Experience the beauty of Europe’s largest freshwater which is a beloved destination for most Hungarians. We will drive you first to the southern shore of Lake Balaton after arriving at Szántod we take a ferry boat to the Tihany Peninsula home to an 11th-century Benedictine Abbey. The promenade next to the abbey offers a great panoramic view over the lake. We get to know the legend of the  Echo and the goat hooves of Tihany. Balatonfüred is a short drive from afterward which was a popular resort for many famous Hungarian writers and artists whose magnificent villas have been turned into museums. We take a walk along the pretty Tagore Promenade to see the Kossuth fountain and the most well-known State Cardiology Sanatorium. We invite you for a lunch in a typical Hungarian restaurant with some winetasting. Then we drive you back in the afternoon on the north shore of Lake Balaton.
