I’m Iker Berasaluce, a passionate wine communicator with a PhD in Chemistry and a Diploma from the Weinakademie Österreich. After hands-on experience in winemaking in Austria and South Africa, I now focus on guiding wine lovers and professionals through immersive wine experiences. Based in Austria, I organize tailored wine tours, collaborate with wineries and regions to share their stories, and create engaging educational content on Instagram (@ikerwine). My goal is to connect people with wine through authentic encounters, always with a strong focus on quality, culture, and learning.
My name is Iker Berasaluce, and I’m a wine expert, guide and storyteller based in Vienna. Originally from Spain, I’ve worked in vineyards in Austria and South Africa and hold the Weinakademiker title (WSET Diploma).
