I am a certified sommelier and wine educator driven by a passion for wine, food, and hospitality. I specialise in Italian wines and am based in the beautiful city of Turin, Piedmont where I founded my wine school "Cultura Liquida". Piedmont is famous for its superb Barolo and Barbaresco wines, fruity Barberas, and sweet aromatic Moscato, which are always great to taste. However, this wine region has much more to offer! You can compare different expressions of the Nebbiolo grape from Langhe, Roero, and Upper Piedmont, as well as explore some less-known grapes and areas, such as Erbaluce around Caluso or Timorasso in Alessandria province. I am eager to help you make fantastic wine discoveries at my wine school. Prepare yourself for a full immersion in Italian wine culture as I design every wine event to be a 360° sensory experience, not only informative but also fun and engaging!

Julia is friendly and very knowledgeable about wine. She also tried her best to translate everything in Mandarin for the benefit of my wife. Highly recommended!
