An Experience Dedicated to Wines
It is a complete circuit that I offer you with this guided tour: from the vine stock and the grapes to the glass of wine, immersing yourself, for a few hours, in a working family wine estate.
Our visit will begin in the vineyard, since that's where it all begins - no good wine without beautiful grapes! You will discover the cycle of the vine, the wine-growing landscapes and the terroir of Vouvray, as well as the work of the winegrower during the year during a guided walk in the vineyards (circuit of approximately 2 kilometers, bring small walking shoes ). This guided tour of the vineyards will also be an opportunity to learn more about French AOCs and their requirements.
This hike will be followed by a visit to the winery and the troglo cellar (remember to take a little woolen blanket if you are cold) to discover the winemaking process and the traditional method used to produce fine bubble wines.
Depending on the date of your visit, perhaps you will have the chance to witness a bottling, a disgorging or the labeling of the bottles?... or even the harvest?
This oenological experience will conclude with a tasting of 6 wines from Vouvray/Touraine/Loire served with slates of regional dishes (fish rillettes from Loire, cheeses and charcuterie from Touraine, nougat from Tours or macaron from Cormery... ) in harmony with the wines - a convivial and gourmet moment awaited by all, during which you will have the opportunity to taste all the colors and all the styles of wine (sparkling, red, rosé, dry and sweet white)!
This comprehensive tour is offered to both beginners and wine enthusiasts (we have already hosted American sommeliers on this tour). Our speech therefore adapts to everyone's knowledge.
In the case of dietary constraints (vegetarian diet), please let us know in advance so that we can adapt the dishes served during the tasting. For people with gluten intolerance, please bring your own bread.
