Guided Wine Tasting in Paphos, Limassol

Everybody has the ability to Taste. Not many know how to use it! I am here to help you understand how it’s done! I will introduce you to the wonderful world of wine tasting .

This is a Guided Wine Tasting Experience at my Private Tasting Room, where you will taste the limited editions of 5 wines, from indigenous grapes. Upon arrival you will be welcome with a humble home made wine from the region. As a calibration wine. We will then examine two indigenous white varieties in a comparative format. We will repeat the process with red wines. 

There is a sequence of steps used to evaluate a wine, and they are done in a specific order. However tasting a wine is not a once-off event but a repeating series of the procedure going back and forth. I will take you through the method I use to taste a new wine, using a simple Sensory Analysis Procedure.  There is no right or wrong and tasting is not a competition of any sort. It’s all about understanding the fermented beverage in your glass.

We had a good time w/ Pambos - the place would be difficult to find but he made this very easy by providing a maps link. Driving to the location was part of the charm of the night. We are wine novices and enjoyed learning. Good conversation and when he needed some fruits he simply picked them from his own trees - how about that?! A real wine experience without the stuffiness of a vineyard where the real goal is to sell you bottles of their own wine. Recommend!
