Wine has been a part of Greek culture and traditions for thousands of years. And yet, to the rest of the world, seems to be a well guarded secret. We felt it's time for that to change. We are two friends, that shared a love of wine. The history of the lands, the traditions and people behind the wines we loved, were waiting to be discovered and celebrated, often only an hour away from our home city of Athens. So we planned the trips and hit the road! After experiencing it all, from grape to glass and forming some of the greatest memories of our lives along the way, we decided to share our favorite tasting road-trips and excursions that we planned for ourselves, with everyone. And just like that, the story of WineThing.gr began! It would be our pleasure to make you part of that journey.
