The House of Alluria – Armenian Winery Producing Natural Wines Machanyan Family winemaking traditions began in the small village of Alyur situated near Van. The name of the village comes from the Alluria River, which flows around the village. Inspired by the several centuries of family winemaking traditions, the Machanyan Family created Alluria wines from local indigenous grape varieties grown in their own vineyards.
