Welcome to Domaine Jean-René Germanier, where wine enthusiasts can learn about the rich history and traditions of winemaking. Join us for a guided tour of our cellar, led by a knowledgeable wine expert who will share insights into our winemaking process.
During your visit, you will have the chance to taste six exceptional wines from our collection, including three Reserves and three Classics. Each wine is thoughtfully paired with a selection of delicious appetizers: enjoy a Salad with Grand-Saint-Bernard crust pâté, Fondue Glareyarde served with Fendant rice (accompanied by homemade bouillon and five sauces), and a delightful homemade dessert featuring pear William syrup and parfait à la Williamine, complemented by coffee and eau-de-vie.

I visited this reputable winery a Saturday end of November 2024 to find some specialities that are local to Wallis, like the white Petite Arvine, one of my absolute favorites. The wineries in Wallis have become more and more commercialized over the years, so you do not really have the same personal contact with the owners that you have in our region in the canton of Vaud. But that's the problem of being too successful I suppose...
