We were a small Group with 10 persons and our guide was funny. He explained the history of Burmester very entainfull. And at the end he recommended us a very good White Port.
For our first port wine tour, everything was excellent. What was important for us was that the tour was offered in German. The online booking was straightforward, and even the time slot we wanted — which was unfortunately fully booked — we were immediately offered an alternative. The prices in the shop were also great, as we had looked around beforehand and, lo and behold, in the shops in Porto the port wine was even more expensive. The German tour was very good, and there were only 8 of us. We would book this tour again.
