Visits to Tennuta Maffone all include a stroll through the estate's breathtaking vineyards and olive groves. This gives visitors the opportunity to experience the stunning landscape. During this time, an experienced and knowledgeable guide will explain how the vineyards are cultivated and cared for, allowing visitors to witness firsthand all the activities conducted on the estate. Strolling through the vineyards, visitors will pass vines over 100 years old, finally arriving at the cellar to begin the wine tasting experience. During this experience, they will taste the white wines Pigato and Vermintino, followed by the red wines Rosato, Ormeasco, and Granaccia. This wine tasting is accompanied by small samples of local produce, including cheeses, cured meats, desserts, and vegetables.

Tenuta Maffone in Liguria, Italy, is a hidden gem that every wine lover should visit! I called an hour in advance and was able to stop by for a brief winetasting in between. I was warmly welcomed by Eliana who did her best to speak English and French. Despite little time was provided we were able to taste 8 different wines with Eliana having provided delicious olives and focaccia. This was a top notch experience and I will definitely return for a tour of the vineyards. 10/10 wines and 10/10 tasting experience!!

We were warmly welcomed and treated to a wine tasting - olives and oil from our own production, homemade focaccia and frittata and lemon pastries for the coffee - and of course very nice wines! Next to the tasting room, the winemaker Bruno was bottling the new Pigato Superiore and we were allowed to take a look - we had a lot of fun with very nice people - thank you very much for that! We are already looking forward to enjoying the wines we bought at home and knowing where they were made - all organic and handmade!
