Great place to discover Greek wines in the heart of Athens. The place is warm and Spyros is very attentive to share his experience and passion. We could not resist the temptation to leave with a delicious souvenir from their selection ...

We visited Athens at the end of January and we decided to visit and take part in some wine tasting whilst we were in the city. Athens Wine Tasting was highly recommended when searching online for popular things to do in the city, so based on that, we booked a session. Considering it was out of season and the middle of a Greek winter, when we arrived we had the entire place to ourselves. We found out we were waiting for another two people, a lovely pair of American ladies who were attending that session also. They did arrive late but once they had settled in the wine tasting started. The whole session lasted about two hours and each of the local wines was presented beautifully and informatively. We sampled 5 wines altogether. 3 white and 2 red and each was accompanied by a local cheese that complimented it. The host was a lovely woman, who in addition to the information about each of the wines, she also gave quite a good history lesson. I learnt from this trip to Athens that Athenians are very proud of their myths, legends and history which is all around you. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are looking to try some local Greek wines whilst in Athens.

We had a private tasting of Greek wines for a group of 10 from a number of different countries. As well as being great fun, the tasting was truly informative. I've done many wine tastings through the years so was pleasantly surprised that I walked away much more knowledgeable - not just about Greek wine but about wine in general. Very friendly host and great wine and accompanying nibbles. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We had a great wine tasting experience. It was very easy to follow. The host/sommelier spoke in perfect English, she was very knowledgeable, and shared with us the history of Greek wine & some fun mythological stories related to wine We tasted 3 whites and 2 reds, all matched with a delicious local cheese. The portions were very generous (in some places they give you only a few drops of wine). I would highly recommend this 1.5 hour experience if you like wine. Thanks for a great evening
