Spend half day in the iconic landscape of the “Chianti Hills”, among cypress avenues, vineyards, sunflowers and medieval villages. Visit the historic square of Greve in Chianti and admire the wonderful village of Castellina in Chianti (probably the most typical and real of the wine villages). Later, we will taste 4/5 of the best wines of the Tuscan countryside in a typical farmhause. A wonderful afternoon experience to discover the rural Chianti region, away from the city immersed in the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. We will discover a village where the population still lives in the ancient stone houses of the eleventh century. We will visit Greve in Chianti and its famous square with typical products, markets, and taste the incredible wines from an ancient farm over the Chianti vineyards. Leave the confusion of the city and pass the afternoon relaxing in Chianti.

  • The Driver will pick you up at the meeting point at 3 PM - Via del Curtatone n° 9 - Florence ( in front of the Gamberini Bar) with a welcome sign with your name written on it.
  • We will cross one of the most beautiful "Tuscan Wine Roads", we will stop among the vineyards to take some pictures. We will visit Castellina and the village of Greve in Chianti and we will arrive at the winery-fam for a great wine tasting.
  • Wine tasting in one of the most beautiful and typical local winery. It is located in the most rural part of Chianti. During the wine tasting there will be an explanation on their basic characteristics and on the production of wines and oil in Chianti. You can relax in this beautiful place and taste 4 of the best Chianti wines, while admiring the rolling hills.
  • The return is scheduled for 8.00 PM

Wonderful afternoon!

The starting point was easy to find. We were eating at a trattoria across the street when Stephano arrived. He had no problem waiting a few minutes while we finished. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The drive through the Tuscan countryside was amazing. Stephano knew the best place to stop for pictures. The winery was just as wonderful. Small, old and quaint. Perfect for a wine tasting! Emma was a wonderful host. She explained the history of the winery and the generations of the owners. She was very knowledgeable of all the wines and the area. We were eager to purchase both wine and olive oil at the conclusion of the tasting. We also had the opportunity to wander the streets of Castellina. What an amazing little town in the Tuscan hills!! Highly recommend this tour!
