Winery Tour and Tasting, Art, History at a Medieval castle and the Emilia Romagna Regional Wine Collection
Once we reach the village, we'll start our day with coffee at the gorgeous art-filled village of Dozza and talk about the region's wines with some insights on the local history, geography and geology.
Next, we'll stroll through the village to admire the many murals then tour the village's striking medieval castle together.
Our tour of the castle will end up in the atmospheric castle cellars which houses the Emilia Romagna regional wine association with around 1,000 of the region's best wines. We'll try some more wines and buy them if we wish.
After this we can stop for lunch at a typical trattoria. NB the cost of lunch is not included – you can pay for what you choose to eat.
When we are ready, we will transfer by taxi to a local winery for a tour and tasting of wines which include Albana DOCG, Italy's first white DOCG-certified wine!
Transport from Bologna Centrale station by train and taxi is included.

Dozza Wine Tour - Amazing Experience!
We had a wonderful experience with Sarah! We really enjoyed our tour of Dozza as well as the wine tastings we had at the two vineyards - we learned a lot about the differences between grapes and the processes used to make different wine. We felt submerged into the local wine culture of Emilia-Romagna. Sarah was lovely - we can’t recommend her tour enough!
