Salon des Vins de Loire (Loire Valley Wine Fair) is one of the wine festivals that anchors the Loire Valley calendar, drawing both local visitors and international wine travellers each year. It is held at Parc des Expositions d'Angers in Route de Paris, in the heart of one of France's most distinctive wine areas. It has been running since 1987, with a long unbroken local tradition behind it.

The region's chateaux and central river landscape are UNESCO-listed. The Loire Valley is a classic French wine touring region, reached via Tours, Angers, Nantes or Orleans.
