Conte Loredan Gasparini, Situated in the Gentile Hills of Treviso
On the gentle slopes of Riviera, in the central part of Alta Marca Trevigiana, the Loredan Gasparini Winery is beautifully positioned. The Alta Marca Trevigiana is a hilly region in the province of Treviso, including Asolo and Montello. Venegazzù di Volpago del Montello, where the winery sits, is surrounded by magnificent vineyards and an elegant Palladian villa Spineda. The villa of Conte Loredan Gasparini Winery is an old relic and dates back to the 18th century. In the 1950s, Count Piero Laoredan, a descendant of the Doge of Venice Leonardo Loredan, founded the winery. At present, Giancarlo Ball owns the winery, who acquired ownership in 1973. Conte Loredan Gasparini Winery is divided into two parts, Tenuta di Giavera and Tenuta di Venegazzù.
Winemaking by Using Renewable Sources
Stretched over an area of 60 hectares, the vineyards provide a lush view of the countryside that can spellbind anybody’s soul who pays a visit. With full respect of nature, the Giancarlo uses renewable sources of energy in various production phases.
