Situated on the picturesque hills of Santo Stefano Belbo, Oscar Bosio Winery is nestled in the charming village of Valdivilla. This winery offers breathtaking views of lush vineyards, the majestic Alps, and the expansive Alba plain, captivating every visitor. Notably, it is one of the few wineries producing dry Moscato. In addition to its wines, Oscar Bosio also crafts delightful Grappas, recognized under the Moscato d’Asti DOCG and Langhe Nebbiolo DOC designations.

The Legacy of Moscato at Oscar Bosio

The story of Oscar Bosio Winery began in 1954 when the Bosio family acquired the estate and initiated the cultivation of Moscato grapes. Today, the third generation of the family passionately manages the winery. Oscar’s sons contribute to the operation, with Edoardo overseeing digital marketing and Francesco managing wine production.

Promoting Biodiversity in the Vineyards

Spanning 18 hectares, the vineyards benefit from optimal sun exposure, allowing Oscar to cultivate a diverse range of grapes. The estate features high-quality Moscato Bianco di Canelli, Barbera, Nebbiolo, along with fruity Dolcetto, Barolo, Barbaresco, and Chardonnay. Under the prestigious Langhe appellations, the winery produces an array of red and white wines, as well as dessert and sparkling wines. Oscar employs integrated vineyard management techniques, allowing grass to flourish between the vine rows, enriching the soil with natural nutrients.

The modern cellar at Oscar Bosio Winery is equipped with advanced technology, utilizing oak casks and barrels for aging and refining both wines and Grappas.
