A Legacy of Passionate Winemaking in Sicily
One of the Oldest Wineries in Sicily
Cambria Wines is one of the longest-running wineries in Messina, located in the picturesque region of northeast Sicily. The Cambria family’s winemaking tradition began in 1868 when Matteo Cambria produced a surplus of wine from his small estate and decided to sell it. Since then, the winery has been dedicated to crafting quality wines, with the passion for winemaking passed down through generations. Each member of the Cambria family has contributed to the growth and success of the winery, ensuring its legacy continues.
Experience the Unique Nocera Wine
Spanning 35 hectares, the family estate includes 20 hectares of vineyards and 4 hectares of olive groves, where they also produce a small batch of olive oil. The vineyards are home to a variety of grape types, including Nero D’Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Inzolia, Grillo, Catarratto, Chardonnay, and Syrah. Notably, since 2009, they have cultivated the indigenous grape Nocera, which is used to create a rare wine of the same name. In addition to Nocera, the winery produces a diverse range of red, white, rosé, sparkling, dessert, and fortified wines from their modern facility, recognized as the most technologically advanced wine cellar in Sicily.
