Cantina di Casorzo, A Very Close to an Intimate Community
Cantina di Casorzo Winery has its roots in the valley between Casorzo and Grana, a short drive away from Bialbero, a peculiarity of nature where a cherry tree and a mulberry tree live in perfect symbiosis for many years. The group of vineyards extends up to an area of 200 hectares with ten different denominations of origin.
A Winery with a Young History
The reality of Cantina di Casorzo took shape in 1951. Later in 1954, the winery had its first harvest. Generation after generation, the owners of the winery put their dedication and innovation to make the most prestigious wines using modern and traditional methods. Today, at Cantina di Casorzo, wine production is approximately 15.000 hectolitres from nearly 20.000 quintals of vines. Cantina di Casorzo cultivates its vines in an enormous number of 200 vineyards with traditional as well as modern technology.
A Colorful Bouquet of Different Grape Varieties
They grow 30% Malvasia, 40% Barbera, and 15% Grignolino along with Freisa, Dolcetto, Bonarda, Cortese, and Chardonnay in some of their vineyards.
