Experience our guided “Crémant de Luxembourg” tasting, paired expertly with local delights, perfect for family gatherings or corporate events.
Welcome to Domaine L&R Kox, a family-run winery located in the picturesque town of Remich, on the left bank of the Moselle. At Domaine Kox, we strive for freshness, innovation, and experimentation. Our winery has a long history dating back to the 17th century. Today, the name of the winery, Domaine L&R Kox, was given when Laurent and Rita (L&R) Kox made winemaking their life's goal in 1977.
Domaine L&R Kox has gained renown for its Crémant, a tradition upheld since 1991. Our approach blends indigenous and international grape varieties, crafting distinctive flavours that linger in the memory. Alongside our sparkling wines, we present still wines, reflecting our ongoing exploration and experimentation. Rooted in a blend of tradition and modernity, our expertise yields wines of unparalleled quality. Continually striving for advancement, our domain embraces diversification, exemplified by recent ventures into beekeeping. The introduction of multiple beehives serves to enrich biodiversity within our vineyards.
Our doors are open during the week, and we welcome enthusiasts to discover the excellence of our wines, due to our continuous experimentation and innovation. We promise you a visit filled with excitement and new insights.

Visited Remich in April 2024 to do some wine tasting at L&R Kox and what a highlight of our trip it was! Set in a beautiful location, we enjoyed a selection of wines whilst listening to a thorough and interesting history of the Kox family and how they established themselves and developed their practices over the years. I can’t recommend this experience enough! It was so much fun and the wines were delicious. A definite experience to add to your list if you’re visiting Luxembourg!
Thank you, Marie-Claire ! See you next time you'll visit Luxembourg
The tour was led by the owner and was a bit of a history, science and summary of the business of wine making in Luxembourg. Afterwards we did a blind tasting of 5 wines/cremants. The owners mother prepared an aperitif with local Luxembourgish meats and cheeses. This tour was very different than previous tours I have taken, which are designed for large groups. This tour was highly personal, almost like visiting family. Very enjoyable visit and highly recommended to learn about Luxembourg wine-making.
I had never visited Remich and decided to book a wine tasting at Domaine Kox for a team offsite. It was a wonderful experience with delicious wine in a beautiful historic home. Our tasting host was kind, knowledgable and gave us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves in our private room. An added bonus for those dog lovers out there… you may even be lucky enough to have a second host named Cali make a surprise drop-in. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this tasting to any wine lovers out there.
