The Gurrieri Winery locates in Chiaramonte Gulfi, in the Ragusa province, in the region of Vittoria, Italy. Their downward slopes, characterized by clayey, shimmering ground and embroidered by vineyard rows, give the visitor a paradisiac view. A Young Winemaking History

Gurrieri Winery started in 2010 when Giovanni and Angela took over the winery. Vicenzo and Graziella, the parents of Giovanni have 50 years of experience in winemaking and support their son. The couple started off the cultivation of vines on 3.2 hectares of land in the Chiaramonte Gulfi and Mazzarrone countryside. Later, they rented three hectares more in the Chiaramonte Gulfi countryside. The winery has become the reflection of the traditional agricultural and rural vocation of the Ragusa region. Currently, Graziella handles the administrative part of the winery. Giovanni’s sons also work with dedication and passion, introducing exceptional wines to the world. The Gurrieri Family still uses traditional methods to obtain high-quality wines.

Taste Authentic Grape Varieties from the Island of Sicily

With the utmost care, the family cultivates 60% Nero d’Avola and 40% Frappato in their lush vineyards. They also grow high-quality Grillo and Syrah and are the authentic producers of unique red wines. Under each label, Gurrieri produces approximately 3000 bottles of wines.
