Set against the stunning backdrop of the Dolomites, L’Antica Quercia Winery is located in the picturesque hills of Scomigo, connecting the majestic peaks of the Dolomites to the enchanting city of Venice. Spanning 25 hectares, the vineyards benefit from a refreshing breeze that flows from the nearby Belluno Dolomites, creating an ideal environment for grape cultivation.
Situated in the Prosecco Superiore DOCG region of northeastern Veneto, L’Antica Quercia dedicates 20 hectares to grape production, while the remaining land is home to olive groves and pomegranate trees. Since 2007, the winery has embraced organic farming practices, earning its certification as a Bio winery. The estate cultivates a variety of grapes, including the esteemed Glera, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, among others. All wines are crafted from estate-grown grapes, resulting in exquisite sparkling wines under the Prosecco Superiore DOCG designation, as well as premium white and red wines from the Colli di Conegliano Rosso DOCG area. Additionally, the winery produces high-quality extra virgin olive oil and Pomegranate Juice – Grappa di Prosecco.
L’Antica Quercia offers comfortable accommodations for visitors, featuring a selection of apartments with single or double bedrooms. Each apartment boasts windows that overlook the lush gardens and vineyards, providing a serene atmosphere. Extraordinary place, I can only agree with all the positive reviews of the others. Even without a call, we were welcomed with a smile. While talking about the history of the winery, we had the opportunity to taste wines that caught our attention. As expected, all wines produced here are a top quality and are definitely worth a try. Highly recommended is to finish your visit with a small walk through the vineyards to the ancient oak.

We contacted L'antica Quercia to do a guided tour, even though they had no more free places they welcomed us with open arms letting us taste their wines and leaving us free to walk in the vineyard (a spectacular hill very well kept). Very positive experience, excellent wine and very kind staff. Thank you!

Wonderful organic (only 2%) winery/ vineyard in Prosecco region. Beautiful property and personable tasting and tour. Claudio and Mara, owners made a point to meet us and were sincerely interested in us. Beautiful DOCG le rive Prosecco’s and red blends . Organic olive oil as well… too die for 💖👌🏽🤩 highly recommend when in the region. Especially appreciate the artistic logo design.

We turned up on Wednesday afternoon without a booking and were welcomed very graciously by a member of the team. She offered for us to try the wines and also have a wander around the vineyard. She was incredibly knowledgeable and impressively explained everything in English. I couldn’t speak more highly of her. The wines are exceptional and good value. It will completely change your perception of Prosecco. We loved this place and would absolutely come back.
