A Chilean Winery that Produces Premier Quality Spanish Wines – Around 12,000 Bottles Yearly

Spanish Grapes Produced in Chile at La Viña del Señor

La Viña del Señor is a Chile-based wine estate located in the beautiful Maipo Valley, a short drive away from Melipilla. It is a temperate region where viticulture and winemaking came in recent years. The company has Spanish roots, and thus, is a pioneer in the cultivation of Spanish vines to deliver high-end wines.

A Journey from Domestic Winemaking to Owing Full-Fledged Winery

Juan Luis Moure owns the winery. The winemaking tradition in the Moure family was old as Juan’s father and grandfather used to produce wines at home for family and friends. To bring change while respecting the family’s cultural values, Juan decided to establish a winery and planted his first vineyard in 2012. The family-owned, artisanal vineyard was named La Viña del Señor, in love with Juan’s father’s homeland. Today, Juan’s daughter, Francesca, also works in the production area.

The Vineyard of the Lord

The vineyards are situated in the Coastal Mountain Area of the Maipo Valley in San Manuel. The harvesting and other viticulture practices are carried out manually. Respecting Mother Nature, the Moure family mainly focuses on Spanish grapes, such as Garnacha, Cariñena, Monastrell, and Tempranillo. They also grow Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon and make unique blends. With these grapes, La Viña del Señor premium red and fortified wines.
