Over a century ago, Chevalier Anthony Cassar began his journey as a small wine producer, collecting grapes from local farmers and crafting wine that was distributed using horse-drawn carts. Through the years, Marsovin has evolved, integrating modern technology and high standards to enhance its winemaking process. Today, under the leadership of Jeremy Cassar, the founder’s great-grandson, Marsovin continues to thrive as a modern winery, producing premium wines that reflect Malta's unique terroir.
Marsovin proudly owns over 199 tumuli of land across five private estates in Malta and Gozo, dedicated to producing high-quality, single-estate wines. The winery's cellars, housed in a historic building from the Order of St. John, contain over 220 oak barrels for aging premium red wines. This commitment to quality and tradition is evident in every bottle. Visitors are welcome to tour the cellars and participate in a wine tasting session, where knowledgeable staff will guide you in appreciating the nuances of Maltese wines.

One of the best wine tasting sessions I have participated in (I have been to quite a few all over the world). Very Knowledgeable sommelier, provided a lot of interesting information regarding the wine making procedure and technics, during the cellar visit. The tasting, in an atmospheric old cellar ( 5 glasses+ a glass of superb sparkling wine of the winery ) very informative and rich in wine and food appetisers pairing each glass. EXCELLENT
Overview of all wines from the winery and various vineyards. Very interesting. Insight into the sparkling wine made in the classic way. Then a tasting with cheese and charcuterie. Superb wines. Attentive and knowledgable guide. After the tasting, tried some additional wines at reception. Inevitably left with a souvenir… a bottle of Primus.

Excellent wine tasting and talk at Marsovin Winery in Paola. Sean welcomed us and Claudio was our guide. He was very knowledgeable! Tasting included 4 wines plus 1 sparkling and a substantial aperitivo. All wines were excellent - we bought a bottle of Cheval Franc home with us! Highly recommend this wine experience!
