The Murogrosso Winery

Located in the picturesque Umbria region, Murogrosso Winery benefits from ideal conditions for viticulture. The gentle hillside slopes and rich soil contribute to the unique agronomic qualities that enhance our wines. Our modern wine cellar, equipped with advanced technology, allows us to produce wines that reflect the essence of this beautiful territory while honoring traditional winemaking practices.

The Murogrosso Vineyards

Our vineyards thrive in a mild climate, with average temperatures ranging from 18 °C to 24 °C and humidity levels between 75% and 90%. This environment is perfect for crafting high-quality, full-bodied Italian wines. The soil composition, primarily clay and gravel with minimal loam, supports optimal grape cultivation. Positioned away from harsh winds, our vineyards flourish, producing grapes that embody the region's character.

A Commitment to Quality and Nature

As a family-run winery, we are passionate about crafting exceptional wines. Since the 1970s, we have dedicated ourselves to sustainable winemaking practices that respect both nature and modern advancements. With nearly fifty years of experience, we take pride in creating wines that not only please the palate but also showcase the rich flavors and qualities of our land.

A wine of truly excellent quality, vinified with the care of those who love these places, who with the same attention have made it beautiful, characteristic but at the same time true, since this region of Umbria is "with the scent of Tuscany". Perfect destination for relaxing, traveling and drinking well.

We had a wonderful time at Murogrosso, trying the delightful wines along with some delicious food. Paola, the sommelier was a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us some very useful tips on wine tasting. The setting is beautiful, and the welcome warm and genuine.

Compliments!!! A truly quality cellar. They quickly prepared a pleasant tasting for us and saw the value for money... in the end we took both the whites and the reds, and also a magnificent extra olive oil 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I purchased the wines produced by Cantina Murogrosso online. The shipment is well organized, punctual and the bottles are protected by ecological packaging and very effective in preventing breakage. The wines are of superior quality, in terms of aromas and taste and, importantly, they do not cause any discomfort to digestion. Among the whites I find Vermentino delicious. The reds are both excellent. You can see the attention paid by the producers to every detail, from the foundations of production to the last detail of shipping.
